Using Z-Pak for Bacterial Infections

Zithromax Z-Pak (azithromycin) is an antibiotic treatment drug that helps treat bacterial infections and bacterial diseases.  Z-pak is used for an assortment of infections caused by bacteria such as skin infections, respiratory infections, ear infections, and even sexually transmitted diseases.  Zithromax Z-pak is one of the most highly trusted antibacterial treatment drugs in the market that is used for a wide variety of bacterial infections.

Zithromax is widely known to the public as Z-pak, a 5-day pill regimen.  This antibiotic drug is very effective against bacterial infections.  Z-pak is only effective against bacteria-related infections.  Z-pak is however not effective against anything that is viral or fungal in nature.  If you are not sure of the infection that you have, consult your doctor first so you can be properly prescribed with the right medication.  However, if your infection is confirmed to be bacterial, you can use Z-pak as treatment for it.

Z-pak is an antibiotic that belongs to an antibiotic class called macrolides.  The mode of treatment of Z-pak is bacteriostatic wherein they prevent the multiplication of bacteria by denying the production of proteins needed for the bacteria’s growth.  Once Z-pak has weakened the bacteria, they either die or are eliminated by the immune system.  The bacteria causing the infection are not killed by Z-pak itself.  This is actually a contrast to other antibiotic drugs wherein it is the actual antibiotics that kills the bacteria.
